AFP reports Itula saying IPC will not recognise the extended 2024 poll

Agence France-Presse, carried by Voice of America on 30 November 2024, quoted Itula at a Windhoek news conference the previous day.

The report places the news conference in Windhoek on 29 November 2024 and the remarks on Saturday 30 November, near the close of extended polling. It quotes him: "the IPC shall not recognize the outcome of that election."

Those are his words as published by AFP/VOA. This page records the published statement. It does not decide whether the poll was free or fair.

The same article also calls him a lawyer. That line is not used on this site. The High Court record supports dentist.
